Margaret and family of the late John (The Captain), would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours, Johns former customers, mates from the Ship and Newcastle United for the kindness, sympathy, cards of condolence, family flowers also donations made to St. Oswald's Hospice during their sad, unexpected bereavement. Thanks also to staff nurse Deborah Carr and Dee of North Tyneside General Hospital and all of the staff in Ward 7, for the care shown to John. Thanks to Rev. Martin Lee of St. Bartholomew's Church for his service and the way he spoke about Johns life.
